Biography

Always surrounded by images and stories, I spent my childhood between the Amalfi Coast and Verona before moving to Milan for university.
I earned a bachelor's degree in art history and later completed a master's in cinema, television, and new media, specializing in documentary cinema at IULM University in Milan.
For the past few years, I have worked in various areas of audiovisual production, from promotion to direction.
I filmed a documentary about the Russian sculptor Tatiana Brodatch, which participated in the Filmmaker Festival 2022 "Prospettive" competition and won a few awards at subsequent festivals (Chameleon Festival, Vertigo Film Fest, Prisma).
At the end of 2023, I completed my first feature-length documentary on family themes, initially selected at Filmmaker where it won first prize in the same category, and was later screened at Visioni Italiane 2024 and Front Doc 2024, where it received the Zalab award.
I have also developed several commissioned projects, including a video art installation in collaboration with the Cinescatti archive of Bergamo, which was exhibited in two venues in Brescia and Bergamo, in Milan cultural centers, at Lago Film Fest 2024 and at the Family Film Project 2024 in Porto, Portugal.
In the same year I directed a documentary on volunteering and disability in collaboration with associations operating in the central region of Emilia Romagna.
Additionally, I served as assistant director on a documentary about photographer Natela Grigalashvili, directed by Giuseppe Carrieri and filmed in Georgia in 2023.
I participated in the residency organized by Zalab on direct cinema; in workshops on film in the celluloid format, archival practices, and video art, including a course led by the artistic duo Masbedo and a residency with Michelangelo Frammartino and Giovanni Cioni in summer 2024.
Since 2025, my film Dove siamo? is available on the Zalab View platform.
Currently, I am developing my next documentary, which was recently selected for the In Progress development program organized by the Milan Film Network.
